Following the completion of the Phase I project, which included a new science wing, grounds building, fitness center, and expansion of the ice rink amenities, USM’s Phase II, or “The Next Generation” Campaign was launched.  The project included the creation of a new 45,000 SF, three story classroom addition with a gymnasium for the Lower School, and 86,230 SF of interior renovations and life safety upgrades to the 1960’s era academic wing.

The Lower School Gymnasium serves all grade levels of the Lower School and supports USM’s after school and summer school programs.

Renovations to the Middle School wing included expanded classrooms for core curriculum and upgraded science classrooms, study hall space, along with a focus on creating an indoor gathering space for students, the Middle School Commons.
