Kelly Seniuk

“I’m drawn to urban planning and design, understanding not just the building but also the context outside of it.”

It came down to a choice for Kelly between being an architect and a fighter pilot. Architecture won, but barely: Kelly has just completed her master’s degree in architecture while also serving part-time in the Air National Guard as an officer. At RAMLOW/STEIN, Kelly is exploring interests in both design and construction detailing. She approaches challenges as a strategic thinker and brings a diverse background and experiences with other cultures to understand what makes a building successful. For her graduate thesis project, Kelly created a multi-pronged neighborhood revitalization plan to keep residents in their homes by developing live/work spaces that also bring new services into the community.
